ISYS Technologies’ Section 508 Notice

ISYS, Inc. supports and complies with Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act when providing services and deliverables to the Federal Government.  Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act requires federal agencies to ensure that their information and communication technology (ICT) is accessible to people with disabilities, minus specific exceptions. Section 508 requires federal agencies to ensure that ICT they develop, procure, maintain, or use allows employees with disabilities and individuals with disabilities who are members of the public to have access to and use of information and data. This access should be comparable to that available to employees and members of the public without disabilities.

The General Services Administration (GSA) Multiple Award Schedules (MAS) Program awards long-term, government-wide Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contracts which include Section 508 adherence under the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). ISYS has a core commitment to diversity, inclusion and accessibility which aligns with the guidelines in Section 508.

As a guideline for all ICT deliverables to the Federal Government, ISYS adheres to the latest accessibility standards to Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 which were updated by the US Access Board and went into effect on January 18, 2018. These updates refreshed the Section 508 Guidelines to recognize market trends and innovations in technology.
